University of Minnesota pediatric physicians and researchers are illuminating discovery, fostering hope and healing for children and their families when they need it most.
Come celebrate U of M advances in children’s health at WineFest No. 19—A Toast to Children’s Health. Enjoy exceptional wines of the Pacific Northwest, gourmet fare, compelling auction lots, and memorable entertainment. Proceeds benefit University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital and its groundbreaking pediatrics research.
All events take place at The Depot in Downtown Minneapolis
Friday, May 9
5:30 to 7:00 p.m. — Program begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Kick off the weekend at the Wine Symposium featuring an educational seminar and tasting led by our Pacific Northwest Honorary Winemasters. They will discuss the growing practices of their region and what makes the wine from the Pacific Northwest so enjoyable. At the symposium, you will sample a special selection Pacific Northwest wines and fare from W Living Room/Prohibition and Tria. Brian “BT” Turner of 96.3 K-TWIN will moderate this panel of experts.
6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Savor signature menu selections from acclaimed restaurants and sample more than 400 wines, including a Pacific Northwest niche. Also, bid on unique, sought-after auction items at the Grand Tasting. The evening will be hosted by Jason Matheson and Alexis Thompson from myTalk107.

Enjoy our sparkling reception and silent auction, plus our one-of-a-kind Fine Wine Bar, featuring sought after and cult wines. At the Fine Wine Dinner, you will enjoy a multi-course gourmet menu with specially selected premier Pacific Northwest wine pairings. This glamorous event, hosted by Jason DeRusha and Jamie Yuccas from WCCO, will have fabulous entertainment, a live auction, and dancing with live music.
Black tie on Saturday. Valet parking available. WineFest attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
